Gold Coast Cycle Centre

Important information

Due to activities related to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games the centre will be closed for bookings from 21 February 2018 to 30 April 2018.

Location

Located beside Nerang National Park, the Gold Coast Cycle Centre is a national competition facility, regularly hosting national, state and regional level cycling events. The Centre was the preferred training site for numerous countries prior to the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

The Gold Coast Cycle Centre was the start and finish location for the mountain bike events during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games™. The GC2018 mountain bike trail was designed to meet Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) requirements using the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) Trail Difficulty Rating System, and will also undergo some final maintenance and modification after the Commonwealth Games for longer-term legacy use.

The Gold Coast Cycle Centre is available for hire by cycling clubs, event promoters and the casual rider.

Lost property

Major Sporting Venues is not responsible for personal property left at the venues.

Due to the high volume of sporting activity and events in our venues, we are unable to store lost items. Where possible items will be returned to the sporting club or event organiser.
