Gold Coast Parks

Make the most of opportunities to explore our great natural playgrounds.

Gold Coast parks

Gold Coast residents and visitors are encouraged to complete the online survey by 9 September 2016 to go into the draw to win one of two $500 bicycles vouchers on offer.

Many of our parks can be found in spectacular locations and can be booked for special events, such as weddings and birthday parties. Others may suit those who are looking for an off-leash park to take their dogs, a natural area for a peaceful walk amongst nature, playground for the children to have fun in or why not have a barbecue in one of our beautiful parks?

Whatever the reason, the City of Gold Coast (City) has a multitude of parks to suit your interests. Use our Park finder to search for the best Gold Coast parks for children, weddings, exploring nature, accessibility and more.

Some of the city's most popular parks include:

What's on

There’s always something on at our parks – check out our Celebrations and awards page to find out about great programs such as Movies under the stars, markets and other free entertainment. If it's exercise and keeping fit that you're interested in, visit our Active & Healthy page and choose from over 170 free or low cost activities that take place in our parks each week.

Sports fields in City parks: Many of our parks are used by sporting clubs for training and matches. Information about whether a sports field is open or closed due to inclement weather, routine maintenance or field renovations can be found on our Sports field closures page.

Report a problem

City officers fix footpaths, park benches, toilets and other amenities on a daily basis to ensure our parks and facilities are maintained in great shape. If you see a City asset that needs attending to, please let us know.
