Gold Coast parks
The City of Gold Coast (City) has over 3800 parks covering 21,000 hectares, almost 700 playgrounds and over 200 sports fields scattered across the city for residents and visitors to explore, use and enjoy.
Many of our parks can be found in spectacular locations that lend themselves to special events, such as weddings and birthday parties. Others may suit those who are looking for an off-leash park to take their dogs, a natural area for a peaceful walk amongst nature, or a playground for the children to have fun in. Whatever the reason, the City has a multitude of parks to suit your interests. Use our Park finder to find the best park for you.
The City's parks are for everyone to enjoy and include a range of facilities such as play and exercise equipment, barbecue and picnic areas, toilets, pathways and boardwalks for walking and cycling.
Some of the city's most popular parks include:
- Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens
- Southport Broadwater Parklands
- Palm Beach Parklands
- Kurrawa Park
- Cascade Gardens
- MacIntosh Island
