Kurrawa Terrace is the City's response to meet the demand for 'dining under the stars' and the 'sand in the toes' events for the business events market.

The project is jointly funded by the City of Gold Coast (City) and the State Government as a Commonwealth Games Legacy project. Kurrawa Terrace is a much anticipated new event location offering, identified in the City's Gold Coast Destination Tourism Management Plan to attract new business events to the Gold Coast by offering an outdoor beach experience that is distinctly Gold Coast.

The business events market is worth $306 million to the Gold Coast economy. The Gold Coast is competing globally for the conference and incentive market, and organisers are seeking unique, money-can't-buy experiences to offer their clients. Construction is now complete.

Kurrawa Terrace is the city's first absolute beachfront-dedicated, fully serviced event space for unique outdoor functions.

The on-site works included relocation of the beach volleyball courts to the south and realignment of the Oceanway, requiring a short-term diversion for cyclists and pedestrians. For more information on this beachfront venue, including supplier information and catering packages, view theĀ Kurrawa Terrace fact sheets.
