Public Art ‘In Conversation’ Talks

Please note: this opportunity is now closed.

Join us for our first Public Art ‘In Conversation’ featuring John Waldron with John Graham.

As we continue to transform our city with public art, the Public Art 'In Conversation' series will provide a unique opportunity to hear from the artists commissioned to develop these works.

Join us for the first instalment of this ongoing series; a very special evening facilitated by leading Arts Professional John Waldron in conversation with local Indigenous artist John Graham.

Graham was recently commissioned to deliver ten large scale art pylons at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre. Together Waldron and Graham will provide a glimpse into the artistic process behind this commission and explore the unique value of site-specific outcomes within the public realm.

The event will be a night of thoughtful conversation and discussion in a venue that directly overlooks Graham’s commission.
