Our school holiday program has a lot to offer from indoor activities at City libraries to outdoor adventures. We've got everything covered for every age range, and all activities are free or low cost.
Community youth centres
City of Gold Coast’s community centres offer a range of activities over school holiday periods. All activities are free and designed for young people aged 12 to 17 years.
Active & Healthy holiday program
Discover the great outdoors these school holidays so that your kids reap the benefits of unstructured playing, learning and being physically active in our many parks, beaches and natural playgrounds. There are hundreds of activities on offer these holidays for kids aged four to 18 years. This program includes activities from our NaturallyGC program and events at the Broadwater Parklands.
School's out - Game on
Kids, grab your running shoes, grab a friend and get your game on. For all the fun, fitness and sports you can handle, check out the Game On kids holiday program.
Free cycling workshops - Training wheels to two wheels
We are offering a series of free workshops to help you enjoy the many benefits that cycling provides. This workshop teaches children aged four years and over how to advance from training wheels to two wheels. Bookings are required.
NaturallyGC program
Let the kids go wild these school holidays. The NaturallyGC program connects kids with nature through free and low cost activities such as kayaking, bushwalks, nature play, coastal education and wildlife shows. This program is primarily for kids aged between 6 and 14 years.

Botanic Gardens
Get into nature at Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens, with low cost holiday activities for kids. While you're there, explore the lagoons and boardwalks, try some new sports along the Kaialgumm Trail and check out the new playground.
