Project information

Maintenance works are underway on the 30 year old Thrower Drive Bridge over Currumbin Creek.

The bridge will remain open and accessible at all times. Considerable efforts will be made to minimise disturbances. However, local residents may notice construction noise, extra lighting and dust at times.

Construction details

Works include:

  • repairs to concrete components underneath the bridge deck,
  • application of protective coatings,
  • replacement of bridge expansion joints.
