Water Walls

The urban art program Water Walls was established in 2016 with the aim of improving the appeal of key assets, reducing vandalism and showcasing local artists.

Over the years, urban artists have transformed utilitarian infrastructure into original art pieces. Their designs reflect the unique character of the Gold Coast and its people. Using a range of mediums the art reflects the area around it, each telling a different story.

The Water Walls program supports and promotes urban artists to create contemporary art that has community benefits, including graffiti prevention, community building, place-making and urban regeneration. We want to support vibrant spaces for people to move through, gather in and celebrate their city.
