Employing her recognisable style of contemporary collage blended with painterly, representational textures, 'FROM DUSK TILL DAWN' is an abstract composition celebrating the tank’s immediate environment, the community, and the greater Burleigh Heads locality. It features the parasol leaf tree, beach fan flower, and the silver gull, all set amongst a lush natural environment.

Artist bio

Emily Devers is a Meanjin (Brisbane)-based multidisciplinary artist, designer and arts facilitator. Emily’s work blends contemporary painting, collage and markers of contemporary muralism to create a unique visual language. She's particularly compelled by the slippage between subject and space within an image, and the role of public art materials within institutional art contexts.
