Professional Placement Program

Professional Placement Program participants

Are you a Gold Coast based emerging to mid-career creative or arts worker who has experience working in a professional creative arts capacity?

Are you looking to deepen your understanding of working in a professional context, learning from senior mentors?

Do you have a genuine desire to establish new relationships, networks, experience and knowledge to accelerate your career opportunities?

You can do this through our paid Professional Placement Program. Placements last for up to 30 days where you could work with one of the region’s most respected arts organisations to gain hands-on mentorship experience.

What is the Professional Placement Program?

It's a City of Gold Coast Arts and Culture Unit development initiative. The program is designed to help emerging to mid-career arts workers gain paid experience in a professional arts and cultural setting, supported by a mentor.
