Our city is proudly culturally diverse with residents from all over the world.

Almost 1 out of every 3 Gold Coast residents was born overseas. Nearly half of our population has at least one parent born overseas. We also have a high number of international visitors and students each year adding to our diversity.

Australian Citizenship Ceremonies

Council facilitates citizenship ceremonies on behalf of the Department of Home Affairs.

City Libraries host weekly English Conversation Circles where you can practice and improve your conversational English in a safe, welcoming and relaxed environment.
