Gold Coast Libraries offer free English conversation circles. Come practice speaking English in a friendly and supportive place. Search our What’s on Gold Coast calendar to find the next sessions.

Our libraries have dedicated LOTE collections. If you are new to English, speak 2 languages or prefer reading in your first language, we have many books and other resources in different languages for you.

Our Active & Healthy program offers free or low-cost physical activities and health and wellbeing programs across the Gold Coast.

As a member of the Gold Coast Multicultural Network, we support and work with various not-for-profit organisations and community groups.

Harmony Week promotes respect, inclusion and belonging for all Australians of all cultural backgrounds.

Harmony Day, held annually on 21 March, is also the United Nations' International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

During August we celebrate Queensland Multicultural month, which is focused on creating a more inclusive multicultural Queensland through learning, action and celebration.
