English conversation circles

Languages other than English (LOTE)

Our libraries have dedicated LOTE collections. If you are new to English, speak 2 languages or prefer reading in your first language, we have many books and other resources in different languages for you.

Active & Healthy

Our Active & Healthy program offers free or low-cost physical activities and health and wellbeing programs across the Gold Coast.

Harmony Week

Harmony Week promotes respect, inclusion and belonging for all Australians of all cultural backgrounds.

Harmony Day, held annually on 21 March, is also the United Nations' International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Queensland Multicultural Month

During August we celebrate Queensland Multicultural month, which is focused on creating a more inclusive multicultural Queensland through learning, action and celebration.
