Place making master planning
The City Place Making team is producing a place making master plan for each commercial centre and industrial area on the Gold Coast, in consultation with business leaders from each activity centre.
Place making master plans (also called place making plans) describe the vision for each activity centre and are decision making tools. The plans inform budgets and guide decisions for future projects, development assessment, place making and city building.
Individual projects for large- and small-scale capital works roll out from the place making master plans as funding allows and can be place making projects, centre improvement projects or tactical urbanism projects.
