Coolangatta sits at the southernmost point of the city, on the New South Wales border and with Kirra, forms a significant business and tourism centre.
Through well-engaged place making, analysis and urban design, we have produced a master plan to meet the needs of the local community, improve public spaces and enhance and protect what is valued in Coolangatta and Kirra.
The Coolangatta & Kirra Business Centre place making master plan was endorsed by Council in November 2019 and will be reviewed in 2024.
