The City's Culture Strategy 2023 has invigorated arts and culture across our city. It aims to:

recognise and nurture the energy and creative vision of our local artists and creative industries
encourage new ideas and creative collaborations
engage our community in world-class cultural experiences.

The City of Gold Coast is a place where culture is everyday. We regularly re-evaluate our programs and priorities to reflect this vibrant and exciting time.

Public art

Public art engages communities, tells stories, evokes conversations and creates a sense of place, leaving a cultural legacy for future generations.

The Music Action Plan envisions a vibrant, creative city, where artists and the music industry are valued and provided with opportunities to develop sustainable careers while continuing to live on the Coast.
