Population data

The City subscribes to population and economic profiling tools Profile.id, Atlas.id and Economy.id.

Individuals, organisations and government can use these tools to better understand the population characteristics of their communities, deliver appropriate local services and apply for grants.

Profile.id

Examine the population characteristics of your community, how they have changed over time and how they compare to other areas. Export charts, tables and reports for particular areas and topics.

Atlas.id

Use this interactive map to create a customised area and examine the population characteristics of that area. Data is available for small areas such as a few streets or suburbs.

Economy.id

Analyse the local economy of the Gold Coast, how it has changed over time and how it compares with other areas.
