Regional Arts Development Fund

The 2022-23 Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) program is now closed. The 2023-24 RADF program will open in October 2023.

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a competitively-assessed grants program supporting arts and cultural projects of all kinds, and artists and arts and cultural workers at all career stages.

RADF is delivered by City of Gold Coast in partnership with Arts Queensland.

There are 3 RADF funding categories.

Activate Arts

Activate Arts supports arts and culture-based activities that have a clear connection to the Gold Coast and deliver artistic excellence, community benefit, collaboration, sustainability and innovation. Apply for up to $15,000.

Activate Music

Activate Music supports the Gold Coast contemporary music sector to create new music and develop audiences locally, nationally and internationally. Apply for up to $10,000.

Activate Small Grants

Activate Small Grants supports individuals, organisations and collectives seeking smaller levels of funding for arts and culture-based activity. Apply for up to $5000.

Activate Arts: Round 2

Applications close: 6 March 2023
Interview: 19 April 2023
Notification: May 2023

Activate Music

Applications close: 31 October 2022

Activate Small Grants

Activate Small Grants can be applied for anytime. This program is open year round until funds are expended. Note: your application must be received at least 8 weeks before your activity start date.

RADF Committee

The RADF Committee is a group of informed representatives who reflect the diverse arts, culture and geography of the City of Gold Coast. Members of the Committee have responsibility for an art form area/portfolio that reflects their areas of expertise.
