We aim to answer as soon as we can, and also provide a call-back option where you can leave your number and we'll contact you as soon as a consultant is available. This is the best contact method for urgent issues such as burst water mains, water pollution, dog attacks, sewer spills and public safety concerns.

Urgent enquiries and emergencies

At all times (including after hours), call us on 1300 GOLDCOAST (1300 465 326) and choose option '1' to be diverted to our Emergency Service number.

Customer Service Centres

Visit one of our customer service centres from 8:15am to 4:30pm*, Monday to Friday (excluding Gold Coast public holidays).

Our face-to-face service centres provide information and advice on topics such as licenses, permits, rates enquiries and account payments, animal registrations, compliance, local laws and development applications.

Cash payments are not accepted at our service centres.

Cash payments for rates and water notices can be made at any Commonwealth Bank branch (with no surcharge) and Australia Post locations (transaction fee applies) across Australia.

Note: While we respond to post and email correspondence as quickly as we can, our self-service online options are the fastest way to request a service or report a problem.

You can email Council for any general enquiries, or feedback. We shall respond to you within 3 business days. If your request is complex or requires a response from a specific City Officer this will be forwarded to the relevant business area to provide you with a written response as soon as possible.
