My Neat Street

My Neat Street

Recognising streets of exceptional upkeep.
My neat street, our neat city.

My Neat Street recognised the valuable contribution of those who are making the Gold Coast a safe and enjoyable place to live, work, and play.

Every day, our City Maintenance team works hard to keep our streets clean and safe.

There are ways you can help, too. You and others in your street can contribute to a safe and neat street by:

Knowing your neighbours is a great way to create safe communities where we look out for each other. A tidy and well-maintained street shows that the community cares about their street.

My Neat Street Honour Roll

The My Neat Street Honour Roll recognises nominated streets that are well-maintained and tidy through a combined effort by neighbours. The program recognises the following 6 streets:

Josephine Terrace, Highland Park (Division 5)

Connection among residents was shown by helping each other with bin collection and looking out for each other's property.

Petworth Court, Arundel (Division 7)

Properties on the street were well-maintained and tidy.

Witt Avenue, Carrara (Division 8)

Connection among residents was shown through the neighbourhood Christmas party and helping each other with bin collection.

Marks Drive, Varsity Lakes (Division 11)

Neatly presented spaces, especially The Sindone Family Park adjacent Marks Drive.

Joy Avenue, Burleigh Waters (Division 12)

The Joy Avenue Facebook page showed positive community relationships.

Marion Street, Tugun (Division 14)

A community-minded approach among neighbours was shown including helping elderly residents with rubbish bin collection.

Each street was assessed for eligibility in November 2022 and therefore streets recognised are reflective of this timing.
