Bin collection to resume following Tropical Cyclone Alfred

Gold Coast bin collection times will return to schedule after being temporarily suspended due to Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

Bin collection times will return to normal from Monday 10 March. Everyone’s normal bin day will apply.

We ask that residents and visitors dispose of food and perishable waste in their general waste bin and place smaller green waste in their green organics bin for the next collection.

Bulk bin collections at commercial buildings, apartment blocks and units began on Sunday.

The City has placed temporary skip bins in areas where bin collections were unable to be conducted. Residents and visitors are asked to only place household waste in the skip bins.
