Annual Report

The Annual Report gives you a snapshot of what the Council has delivered to you in the last financial year. It highlights our accomplishments and how well we've been doing.

This report is based on the Council Plan, which lays out our goals and what we're striving to achieve. It also connects to the City Operational Plan, which is how we make our City Vision a reality through various programs and services.

The report identifies progress towards achieving Our City Vision 'Inspired by lifestyle. Driven by opportunity'. It also includes details on Council's financial performance as at 30 June 2023, governance and statutory information, and provides the disclosure requirements under the Local Government Act 2009 and the Local Government Regulation 2012.

The Annual Plan

The Annual Plan supports the implementation of the City Vision and Gold Coast 2032. It includes the City Budget and City Operational Plan providing a comprehensive view of priorities, expenditure and levels of rates, fees and charges.

The City Operational Plan details:

  • annual programs and services including descriptions, budgets, key activities
  • performance plans for commercialised business units - Gold Coast Waste Management and Gold Coast Water, and
  • support for the implementation of Gold Coast 2032 City Vision and our key strategies.
