Penalty Infringement Notice Review Procedure

Our local laws are aimed at protecting a range of environmental, social and health values in our city.

Penalty Infringement Notices (PINs) are issued by City officers for an act or omission against a local law or other legislation. This procedure provides guidance to those who have received a PIN as to whether they have a valid reason to make a request to the City that this PIN be withdrawn.

The procedure also defines the process and criteria under which requests for a review of Penalty Infringement Notices are considered.

Please read about this procedure before submitting a request for a PIN review.
