Councillor Hammel has always lived in Division 1. Elected in 2020, Cr Hammel is focused on delivering road upgrades, enhancing parks and sports fields, building footpaths and bikeways and improving public transport. He is the Chair of the Planning and Environment Committee and member of the following committees: Water & Waste; Transport & Infrastructure Audit & Risk; and Local Disaster Management.
