The City of Gold Coast now has an Incoming Sponsorship Policy and procedure. This policy is to enhance the provision of community services and facilities by raising additional funding which may be used to supplement assets, program delivery, increase exposure to or cover operational costs.
The Incoming Sponsorship Policy and procedure is in place to provide a centralised, ethical and coordinated approach to seeking, acquiring and managing incoming sponsorships and partnerships. It relates to all Council run and managed assets, programs, venues and events where Council directly receives monetary or in-kind support from a sponsor/partner.
