Nature Conservation Assistance Program

This program provides grant funding to landholders with properties of high conservation value. It helps establish bushland restoration projects to improve the native habitat on the property and contribute to the enhancement of the city's natural areas and biodiversity.

Landholder submits expression of interest (EOI)

Site visit/discussion with a Conservation Partnerships Officer

Landholder submits application

August – October 2026

Applications assessed and landholders notified by October 2026

Expressions of interest

Expressions of interest open on Wednesday 1 July 2026 and close at 3pm Wednesday 15 July 2026.

Access to applications

Access to applications will be made available to landholders who have:

  • submitted an expression of interest
  • received a site visit from a Conservation Partnerships Officer
  • a project suitable for funding.
