Book City street light banners

We offer commercial and charitable organisations the opportunity to publicise your product, festival, club or event using street light banners throughout the city.

Campaigns can be targeted to particular zones across the city, and larger scale bookings can be reserved. This means you can:

reach up to 715,000 workers, residents and visitors to the city every day
enhance the streetscapes of the Gold Coast with your eye-catching creative designs
access over 60 locations and 614 poles throughout the city.

How to secure your booking

1. Check availability

Check for your preferred banner zone locations in the Street Pole Banner Guide. Please note you must book a whole zone at one time. Bookings start at a minimum of 2 weeks and maximum of 4 weeks, with longer booking available upon request.

Contact the Banners Team via email banners@goldcoast.qld.gov.au to check dates and availability. We suggest doing this a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 6 months prior to your anticipated installation dates.

2. Complete the booking form

3. Receive a quote

Our Banners Team will send you a comprehensive proposal which includes all costs relating to your campaign, including pole hire, installation and removal, and other associated costs such as washing, labelling and packing or disposing of banners.

4. Lock in your dates

Sign and return your quote to let us know you've accepted the costs and our terms and conditions and are happy to proceed to invoice stage.

5. Pay your invoice

An invoice will be sent to you requesting prompt payment in advance. This allows us to lock in your booking. Banner bookings cannot proceed unless payment is received within 14 working days.

6. Banner production

Please submit your final artwork at least 5 weeks prior to installation date, using the templates provided. We need to approve your artwork before printing occurs. Each zone must display only one campaign to minimise confusing messages and visual variations.
