Experience Gold Coast

Experience Gold Coast (ESG) is our destination marketing organisation. It promotes the city as:

  • a preferred place to study
  • a city that celebrates arts and culture
  • the lifestyle capital of Australia.

ESG’s Event Partnership Program provides funding for major events that drive tourism and economic and social benefits for the Gold Coast. The program helps showcase the city with world-class festivals, sporting and cultural events.

Local Councillors

Gold Coast Councillors support events that benefit to the city and their communities.

Community Grants Program

Our program provides grant funding to community organisations to deliver projects or events that benefit residents and promote community outcomes.

  • Grants run annually, usually from 1 July.
  • To apply, your project or event must meet the program objectives aligned to the City's Vision, Gold Coast 2032.
