We offer support for major events and business events held on the Gold Coast as well as event marketing.
Major event support
The Event Partnerships Program provides support for events that drive tourism, economic and social benefit to the Gold Coast. The Program's vision is to ignite the city with a vibrant array of festivals, sporting and cultural events that showcase the Gold Coast as a world class, global events destination. Local Councillors
Gold Coast Councillors are supportive of events that are designed to provide a benefit to the city and to the residents of their community.
Community Grants Program
The City's Community Grants Programs are designed to assist community organisations to deliver projects or events that benefit the residents of the Gold Coast and promote community outcomes.
Community grant programs run on an annual basis, generally from 1 July. To be eligible to apply for a community grant, community organisations must demonstrate that the project or event meets the objectives of the funding program and is aligned to the City's Vision, Gold Coast 2032.
