Who are the buyers?
City of Gold Coast
We are responsible for supporting Games planning and delivery on the Gold Coast, including venues, infrastructure, city operations and services before, during and after the Games. These commitments are supported by our Gold Coast 2032 Legacy Strategy(PDF, 9MB), which focuses on leveraging the Games to deliver long-term economic, social and environmental benefits for the city.
Alongside other Southeast Queensland councils, we procure goods and services to support local projects, city operations and Games delivery across a wide variety of industries.

The Brisbane Organising Committee for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (Brisbane 2032)
Brisbane 2032 manages all operational procurement for the event, covering everything from branding and event design to signage, technology, uniforms, accommodation, infrastructure, sport equipment and more. Their approach is built on transparency, ethical practices and supporting local suppliers wherever possible.

GIICA (Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority)
Will deliver 17 new and upgraded venues across Queensland in partnership with local councils and industry. GIICA’s procurement activities include planning, design and construction.

1. Understand the evaluation process

2. Prepare key business information
Make sure your documentation is up to date for:
- experience: relevant contracts, scope, personnel, value, dates and referees
- capability and capacity: industry expertise, innovation, systems and delivery approach
- workplace health and safety: processes, systems and risk management
- environmental sustainability: policies, practices and credentials
