Screen On Boarding Program

This program is for anyone looking to work in the screen industry.

Presented in partnership between the Gold Coast Film Commission and TAFE Queensland, industry professionals will provide you with details of processes and protocols to assist you to access employment opportunities in the screen industry.

Your skills and experiences in project management, business, construction, makeup and hair, styling, hospitality, events, finance and film are valued by the industry and can be applied across various departments involved in a production.

Designed with industry input, this short course, will provide you with real-life details of what you can expect on set. Production managers, VFX experts, location mangers, art department, live television experts and post-production professionals will step you through the various roles and departments involved in a production, how they work together and the associated processes and procedures.

A site visit will provide you with a first-hand view of various roles in action (subject to availability).

An industry led workshop will step you through updating your resume, industry contacts and valuable insight to applying for positions in the screen industry.
