About the trade show

Held annually, Food and Hotel Asia – Food & Beverage is the largest international food trade show in Asia. With over 70% of visitors from South East Asia attending to source and buy products, this trade show is a great platform for Gold Coast food and beverage exporters wanting to expand their business in the Asian market.

The 4-day event anticipates that over 1500 exhibitors from more than 50 countries will be in attendance across the 70 pavilions. More than 70% of exhibitors will be direct manufacturers and as many as 15% are expected to use the platform as a launch pad for new-to-market innovations.

Australia has been announced as the Partner Country for Food Hotel Asia – Food and Beverage 2025.

  • Meet with potential partners, distributors, agents, customers and industry contacts
  • Attract investment to the Gold Coast
  • Continue to the grow the reputation of Gold Coast food and beverage manufacturing

Eligibility criteria for Gold Coast businesses

  • Be a registered Gold Coast food and beverage manufacturer or business
  • Export-ready and committed to ongoing market development
  • Priority will be given to businesses with a focus on SE Asia expansion, new market development and supportive Export Market Plan
  • Eligible for the federal Export Market Development Grant scheme
  • Have transferable product or services to target overseas regions
  • Have the capacity to set up in-market resources including warehousing
  • Meet regulatory requirements in the region
  • Have demonstrated commitment of resources to the sales cycle
  • Demonstrate business outcomes.

Gold Coast businesses interested in participating will be assessed for export capability and market readiness.

*This is to include a visit to Singapore Retailers. Limited spaces available (20 total) with 2-hour duration. Must be attending as a City of Gold Coast stand business. This will incur a cost and full details are pending.

Why attend?

The trade mission will support the fast-growing food and beverage exports from the city. The purpose-built Gold Coast stand will support local food and beverage product and service businesses to connect with buyers, partners and service providers from Asia and beyond.

What's on offer?

Exhibitor package ($500)

Apply for shared exhibitor space on Australia's Gold Coast trade stand.

Successful businesses must pay the participation fee on receipt of the invoice before departure to secure their place on the mission. Attendance at Food Hotel Asia – Food and Beverage includes assistance from our appointed export representative attending the trade mission.

Food and Hotel Asia 2025 charges all confirmed participants a mandatory event service fee. This charge represents SGD$700 per business stand. The event service fee, in addition to the stand set up fee, is being covered by the City of Gold Coast.

Any additional stand requirements will be at participants own expense (for example, refrigeration/cooking equipment).

Walker package ($250)

Become a ‘walker’ to leverage the trade stand for meetings and connections without an exhibition display. This package is ideal for emerging brands wanting to investigate the market before launching or established brands visiting the market for meetings.

Additional requirements

Participants to fund and book their own flights, accommodation, freight and other costs associated with travel to Singapore and have a valid passport.

Participants must agree to mission terms and conditions.

Completing your registration does not guarantee your involvement, nor does it bind you to participation. All expressions of interest will be assessed on their merit by the Economic Development team. Once your business has been accepted as a mission participant, you will receive a final invitation to confirm your participation. On acceptance of participation, businesses are required to commit and pay invoice.
