This search will provide you with the status of a development approval at the date the request was lodged. Where a development approval is determined to be in effect (has not lapsed), a copy of the development approval and associated plans (where stamped and approved) will be provided.
The search applies to development approvals given in line with the following legislation:
- Planning Act 2016 (section 85 and 88)
- Sustainable Planning Act 2009 (section 341, 342 and 343)
- Integrated Planning Act 1997 (section 3.5.21 and 3.5.21A)
This search request does not include earlier approvals given under previous repealed legislation, for example, the Local Government (Planning and Environment) Act 1990.
