Copy of decision notice or plan of development

We provide issue of copies of decision notices upon request. Decision notices are issued for information purposes only and should not be relied upon for making decisions with legal and/or financial implications.

If you are looking to establish a chronology of development approvals in effect for the property, please refer to the Planning & development certificates page.

This request does not provide:

  • details of historical and/or existing use rights of the premises
  • an assessment of compliance with the approved plan requirements or any relevant approvals or City Plan provisions
  • a copy of any associated reports referred to in a decision notice or planning approval.

Fees

Fees are payable for all search requests.

Pay fees online by credit card on submission. Please see the Register of fees & charges for details of the fees and refund conditions. Alternatively, download the Search request fees and charges(PDF, 170KB)

If you would like to pay by account, use the Application for credit account form(PDF, 167KB) to apply for a Business Partner account.

Cancellation fees may vary depending on the progress of a requested search. If you need to cancel a search, submit a request by email to search@goldcoast.qld.gov.au.
