Confirmation of accepted development

These applications provide an assessment of the proposed use to confirm that it is an accepted development. This means no development application is required.

How to apply

Use this form to have your proposed property use confirmed as Accepted Development for your property. For information on how to prepare your application, go to How to lodge a development application or call the Planning Enquiries Centre on 07 5582 8708.

Step 1.Gather your documents

You will need to submit the following documents with your application:

  • a covering letter or short report detailing the proposed use
  • plans and drawings
  • site plans
  • building elevations.

Step 2.Complete the application form

Step 3.Prepare your documents in the correct format

Prepare your application documents in the following format:

  • forms - combined as one single PDF
  • supporting documents - combined as one single PDF
  • plans - combined as one single PDF
  • specialist reports - combined as one single PDF
  • fee payment.

Step 4.Send us your completed application form

Email your application to dart@goldcoast.qld.gov.au, attention to the Development Assessment Review Team (DART).
