Privacy Collection Notice for newsletter subscriptions

Council of the City of Gold Coast (Council) manages personal information in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) and the Queensland Privacy Principles.

Council collects your personal information, including your name, suburb and email address, so that we can send you communications about Council services, projects and local matters affecting you.

Providing your personal information is voluntary. If you do not provide the requested information, Council will be unable to send you the requested communications.

Council will use or disclose your personal information to administer, deliver and support these communications. Council may engage contractors or service providers to assist with distributing communications, which may involve the storage or processing of personal information outside Australia.
