Sandbag stations

Using sandbags to protect your home or business against floods can help reduce damage.

If a severe weather or flood warning has been issued we may open sandbag stations to provide free pre-filled sandbags to residents and access to self-service sites.

When sandbag stations are open, locations will be made available on the Disaster and Emergency Dashboard.

Alternatively, hessian bags and sand are available from your local hardware or garden supply store.

If sandbags have been in contact with floodwater, dispose sandbags safely.
