Accidental damage to property by City mowing

When we mow, sometimes accidents happen. Like where a stone or hard object is thrown up from a mower or a whipper-snipper.

If your property has been accidentally damaged by City mowing:

  • where safe to do so, exchange details with the operator on site at the incident and collect evidence, including photos
  • make a claim using one of the options below.

By email

Step 1.Gather your documents

  • your (the claimant) full name and contact details
  • time, date and location of incident
  • a detailed description of what happened including the damage caused to property
  • take photos of the damage.

Step 2.Send us your completed claim

Email your claim information with photos attached to mail@goldcoast.qld.gov.au

In person

Step 2.Write down your notes & print your photos

Step 3.Visit one of our customer service centres

To get in-person assistance – submit your claim at one of our customer service centres (Monday to Friday between 8.15am and 4.30pm).

By mail

Take photos of the damage and print them.
