Beach and waterway shower renewal
- Project typeSport & recreation
- Project value$1.064 million
- Project scheduleFebruary 2026 to June 2026
We are upgrading some beach and waterway showers as part of our maintenance program. Highest priority sites will be upgraded first.
Our new beach shower design features a concrete pit to help keep the showers cleaner and free of sand. Works will involve installing a concrete pit shower and renewing the existing shower components.
Public impacts
Works will take place from Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm. Nearby residents may notice some temporary construction noise and minor disruption in some areas. Pedestrian and traffic management will be required at some sites.
