Coomera – Beattie Road intersection upgrades

We are upgrading 2 intersections along Beattie Road at Whitewater Way and Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera.

The upgrades will help reduce crashes, especially those involving bike riders, and will improve traffic flow during peak hours.

Construction details

• Install traffic signals at both intersections
• Pedestrian crosswalk at the Dreamworld Parkway intersection
• New pathway connections for improved pedestrian access
• Street lighting, CCTV and signage upgrades
• Reconstruct pavement with updated line marking

Impacts during construction

• Construction starts in January, and will take approximately 6 months
• Work hours will be during the day and night, Monday to Friday
• Temporary lane closures, detours and traffic delays
• Construction noise, dust and vibrations

We will do our best to minimise disruption. Advance notice will be provided through signage and letterbox notices.
