We have upgraded the netball facilities and amenities at Firth Park, Mudgeeraba.

Firth Park is a 15-hectare multi-purpose sports park that had 17 netball courts, a baseball diamond, 2 senior and one junior rugby league fields, a skate park and the Mudgeeraba Bowls Club.

Upgrading the facilities has increased the capacity of the park, catering for regional population growth. It will also establish Firth Park as a premier netball hub on the Gold Coast, suitable for staging large regional and state competitions.

Completed upgrades

Constructed 24 netball courts to national netball design standards and install 200 lux LED lighting
Installed player shade between courts
Installed spectator seating with shade at all courts
New toilet amenities block and upgraded existing toilet facilities
New path with lighting from Somerset Drive to the Community Centre
Stormwater management plan including between the netball courts

New sports field lighting at Junior Rugby Field 3

Open space restoration

The 140 informal temporary carparks on the area adjacent to the skate park are being restored to grassed open space. Works will be completed by May 2026.
