Route and timetable information

The Northern Gold Coast Bus Improvement Initiative is equally funded by the City of Gold Coast and the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Background

  • In early 2023 more frequent bus services with longer running hours were rolled out on bus routes 721, 722 and 726 on the northern Gold Coast. These improvements are making it easier for locals to get around their neighbourhood, and connect with other transport services at Coomera and Ormeau stations.
  • In mid-2023 two new bus routes, 720 and 724, were introduced to improve services in Pimpama and Coomera, making it easier to connect with other transport services at Coomera station.
  • On 23 September 2024 another two new bus routes, 732 and 733 started running on the northern Gold Coast to further improve access to Coomera, Ormeau and Jacobs Well. In addition, timetables for routes 722, 724, 728 and 729 changed to provide more trips, longer operating hours and more reliable journey times. The routes had some minor changes to avoid congestion and make your trip quicker.
