Business opportunities

Part of the reason we’re co-hosting the Games is to support local businesses, create jobs and promote our city. New investment in infrastructure, tourism, trade and community programs will grow Queensland's economy, with around 91,600 new jobs expected.

The Brisbane 2032 Procurement Program gives local businesses the chance to help deliver one of the world's biggest sporting events. The Program focuses on transparency, sustainability and local benefit. Businesses are encouraged to register via the Supplier Portal to access Games procurement opportunities. By registering, you can:

  • get alerts for relevant Expressions of Interests
  • showcase your capabilities to Games buyers
  • connect with other suppliers and delivery partners.

The Games will bring global attention and create opportunities for local businesses to grow and succeed. We are committed to supporting local business and industries to make the most of these opportunities.

Businesses can prepare for future supply opportunities by becoming 'tender ready'. You can find programs, resources and other information available on the Business Queensland website.

Brisbane 2032 Legacy Strategy

Nearly 14,000 ideas were shared to help plan the legacy of the Games. Feedback came from the Hopes and Dreams survey, stakeholder engagement and the Brisbane 2032 Legacy Forum held in March 2023. The Strategy was developed by all the Games Delivery Partners.

An Implementation Plan will guide early legacy activities up to 2029. This plan will be created with the Games Delivery Partners and will outline priority programs, projects, targets, partnerships, policy levers and funding sources that can make these initiatives happen.
