We are upgrading and expanding the recycled water network to provide Class A recycled water for additional customers. Upgrading and expanding the recycled water network helps maintain and enhance green spaces and avoids using drinking water for irrigation. To enable efficient delivery of critical infrastructure, an existing sewer main within the same footprint will also be upgraded.
The construction and expansion of the recycled water main is essential infrastructure for our growing city.
This work forms Stage 1 of the Recycled Water Network Expansion project for the City of Gold Coast.
The replacement of the rising sewer main is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to upgrading and improving our critical infrastructure.

The contract for this project was awarded to a local contracting firm NTS Group Pty Ltd.
Standard hours of work will be 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and 8am to 4pm Saturday. After-hours work on weekends and at night will generally not be necessary but may be required on occasions.
