Find out how to renew your licence or permit if there is no renewal fee or if payment of a fee is required.

Renew your permit or licence – fee payment required

Pay your renewal fees for permits or licences through our secure payment gateway.

Please note: Payments by credit card will incur a surcharge.

Renew your permit or licence – nil fee

Certain permits and licences do not attract an annual fee (e.g. resident parking permit, food business licence) and are renewed by way of acknowledgement to the City.

If you have no renewal fee to pay, you can renew your permit or licence using one of the methods below.

Online

To renew your permit or licence online, you must first register for My Account – a secure customer account accessed with your unique user name and password. If you haven't yet registered, visit My Account for more information.

You can also use My Account to cancel the licence/permit or update details at the time of renewal.

If registered, click on the link below to sign in to My Account. A new window will open to display the online tool. Once signed in, select 'Permits and licensing' then 'Licence renewal or response' from the menu. If you have a permit or licence due for renewal, it will be displayed here.

By email

Scan the signed notice and email to the address located on the top right-hand side of your notice.

By mail

Ensure that you have checked the details on the renewal notice, sign and post to:

Authorised Representative

Nominate an authorised representative to allow another person or agency to update details and make enquiries on your behalf.

Amend a licence/permit

Use the Amend licence/permit form to apply to:

change your business or contact information
modify your operation or request a change to conditions of approval.

Cancel a licence/permit

Use the Cancel a licence/permit form to cancel an existing licence/permit.

Replace approval documentation

Use the Replace approval documentation form to apply for replacement approval documentation for your permit or licence.
