How to pay for your parking

Parking meters accept credit/debit cards and coins.

Follow the instructions on the meter's screen.

You will be asked to:

  • enter your vehicle registration number
  • enter the amount of time you wish to stay for (no more than the maximum allowable parking time)
  • use coins or your credit/debit card to pay for the time requested
  • select whether you would like a receipt for the parking
    • if you select this option, make a note of the code displayed
    • to view your receipt go to my-receipt.com and enter the code provided.

If the meter is faulty, please try other meters in the area or use the Easy Park app to pay.

Multi-use carpark voucher

This voucher is valid for use from Monday to Sunday during the applicable fee times (as signed) at this carpark and those listed below:

  • Alex Black Carpark
  • Athol Paterson Carpark
  • Carey Carpark
  • Mal Burke Carpark.

Long-term multi-use carpark vouchers can be purchased for:

  • $221 per month
  • $628 for 3 months, or
  • $1193 for 6 months.

Vouchers can be purchased from any customer service centre or by posting a cheque and forwarding your details to City of Gold Coast, PO Box 5042, GOLD COAST MC QLD 9726.

Please note:

  • the carpark voucher shall not be used for hire or rental vehicles that are being returned or left for hire or rental
  • holding a carpark voucher does not guarantee a parking space
  • where relevant, any unused portion of a carpark voucher issued for one month or less in duration is non-refundable
  • where relevant, parking vouchers must be clearly displayed on the vehicle dashboard.
