Burleigh Heads parking
Parking rules and regulations for Burleigh Heads exist to improve the management of parking in the area. They are a result of findings from the ParkInCentre Schemes reviews. The aim of the scheme is to manage high demand for car parking and provide the community with better parking availability to meet its needs. This includes the introduction of variable pricing. We review the price of metered parking four times a year, and adjust the price up or down to better support demand.
Parking measures and charges in Burleigh Heads apply every day from 9am to 5pm, including on public holidays.
You cannot move your car to a different spot within this timed parking area and continue to park there.
If you do not move your car entirely out of the timed parking area after the designated time limit has expired, you may be subject to a parking fine.

Free parking
- There are over 430 free spaces along the beachfront between First Avenue and Kelly Avenue.
- Parking in Justins Park Carpark is free. You can park there for a maximum of three hours between 9am and 5pm. Parking is unrestricted outside these hours.
- Timed parking (free, parking for a maximum of three hours) is available along the Esplanade from First Avenue to Kelly Avenue.
