Three children smiling, playing outside

The You.nique program is a free family mental health support service, providing early intervention and individual support to children and young people aged 0 to 18 years who are displaying emerging signs of mental health concerns.

Services

  • Meet with children, young people and their families at a time and place that suits them
  • Work with children or young people to address their mental health needs through tailored, goal-focused intervention
  • Share techniques and strategies with parents to assist in managing emotions and work on social skills to help develop positive relationships
  • Short-term: we work with young people and their families for up to 6 months
  • Funded by the Department of Social Services

Children or young people we commonly work with are

  • experiencing a diagnosed mental health concern
  • showing early signs and symptoms of a mental health concern, such as low levels of worry or anxiety, friendship issues, low moods, emotion regulation
  • at risk of developing a mental health concern.

Check our website for more information about referrals into the program, parental consent for participation and our eligibility requirements.

Please note: we are not a crisis service.
