Friends of Nerang National Park

Friends of Nerang National Park are a volunteer-led group that undertakes a range of conservation activities in partnership with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. Nerang National Park is habitat for over 20 conservation-significant species.

We undertake monthly bush regeneration sessions on the second Sunday of the month to uphold the biodiversity of the park.

We offer a number of additional activities throughout the year that all are welcome to attend, including:

  • ecological restoration (weed removal, rubbish removal)
  • fauna surveys
  • educational events
  • guided walks.
