Active & Healthy Program

The Active & Healthy program includes activities specifically for people with disability. Many of these activities are free of charge or low cost, and can be found on the Active & Healthy Program page.

NaturallyGC Program

Join the NaturallyGC program and enjoy a range of accessible environment themed workshops and events.

Gold Coast Libraries

Our Library services include a range of assistive equipment and technology.

The accessible collection has a range of activities, games and equipment to support the rehabilitation and development of children and adults.

Aquatic Centres

We acknowledge the importance of access to pools for recreation, rehabilitation and therapy. Our Aquatic Centres have chair lift access into pools, some pools have ramped or beach access. Concessions are available for eligible pension card holders and carers.

Community Centres

The Gold Coast has over 40 Community Centres, which provide a range of activities for everyone. Find out 'what's on' at your local centre and about venue accessibility on the Community Centres map.

Vehicle access to parks for service providers

Organisations that work with people with limited mobility can apply for a permit to drive into our parks, to make access easier. Permits can be obtained for a number of parks with shade, accessible amenities and picnic facilities.
