For SLSCs and community groups

Local Surf Life Saving Clubs and community groups can apply to become a Beach Access Program Partner to improve access to beaches.

To be a partner you will need to be able to store the beach access equipment, manage day-to-day operations, and provide the equipment for the community to use free of charge for at least one day a week during surf patrol season. We will work with you to find the best equipment for your site, provide you with beach matting and/or a beach wheelchair, and support you with ongoing advice, training, and servicing of equipment.

For more information, please contact us on 07 5581 6797, SMS 0468 566 413 or email inclusion@goldcoast.qld.gov.au.
