Young people

There are over 90,000 young people aged 12 to 24 years living on the Gold Coast.

We work closely with local schools and a network of more than 200 community and private organisations to support young people across the city.

We acknowledge the critical role these groups play in the lives of our young people.

Gold Coast Youth Plan 2020

Our youth plan provides a strategic framework for the delivery of our services to the growing number of young people living here.

It highlights our key programs, activities, services and outlines key initiatives.

The City of Gold Coast Junior Council is a civic leadership program for students in Years 10 and 11 from local Gold Coast high schools.

Level Up creative studio and gallery is our youth arts incubator for makers, doers and dreamers.

Discover the range of resources available for young people, at our libraries.

We provide a variety of education programs and valuable tools to support teachers and other educators, students and the wider community.
